(AP) — Fans have pushed the Fisher-Price Corn Popper into the National Toy Hall of Fame, elevating it from perpetual finalist to 2023 inductee, alongside baseball cards, Cabbage Patch Kids and NERF foam toys, the Hall of Fame announced Friday. Fintech startup Brite Payments has raised $60 million in venture capital funding as it looks to scale its European operations. Founded in 2019, the Swedish firm is in the instant bank transfer space, a burgeoning sector of open banking known as account-to-account (A2A) payments. Based in Stockholm, Brite was founded by a former employee at buy-now, pay-later giant Klarna, Lena Hackelöer, and operates in 25 countries leveraging Europe wide open banking regulation, known as PSD2. His 2022 total compensation was $4.5 million. 3M, which manufactures brands including Post-it, Scotch, and Scotch-Brite, announced on Monday that Michael Vale had been "terminated for cause," effective May 12. In 2022, when he served as group president of 3M's safety and industrial business, Vale's total compensation was $4.5 million, financial filings show. Since April 2022, Vale's target total cash compensation was $1.62 million, half of which was made up of his base salary.
